There are many reasons you do not want to receive RAW or unedited JPEG images from a photographer (here is my list):

1. RAW, unedited or untouched images are FLAT, lack color and do NOT represent the artist's full capability

2. Photography is an ART and the retouch/editing process is the moment the art is brought to life

3. We want to represent each other (you the client and myself as the photography in the best and most brilliant/ominous light possible
